Chapter 122   A Solution

Jiang Huai furrowed his eyebrows. However, just as he was about to walk up to them, the group immediately dispersed. What the hell was happening?

Behind him, he heard a few words, “Damn, he’s so short! Does he think he’s worthy of criticizing our School Belle Yao Tang? Fuck him!”

There was another group who was glaring at him in disdain.

Did he have something on his face?

Fear bubbled up in his chest when a thought occurred to him. Did they know what he had done?

Only one class had passed since his encounter with Yao Tang. No one in Class One would have taken out their phones to check the forum, right? Panic filled him.

Should he go back?

However, as he was walking back to his classroom, he heard a familiar voice sounding behind him,

“Hey, it’s you, right?”

“You’re the one who sent me the message. You wanted me to get beaten by Yao Tang to humiliate me, didn’t you? And you’re also the one who posted our fight on the web?”

He froze. Shit.

Li Tao had been waiting outside of Class 1 this entire time, trying to grab the right opportunity to speak to the asshole. Seeing his trembling back, he clenched his jaw.

Since he couldn’t touch Yao Tang, shouldn’t he teach this kid a lesson as payback?

“How about I’ll tell you what happens to people who mess with me?” Snarling, Li Tao grabbed a hold of Jiang Huai’s collar and dragged him down the stairs.

It was during class, so there were only a few people walking around the campus.

Li Tao didn’t even hesitate as he dragged Jiang Huaidown. Within a few steps, he tossed him aside onto the large field. He looked around.

There weren’t any people around, only a few other bulky men with beer bottles and wooden sticks.

“Go to hell!”

Li Tao threw Jiang Huaionto the ground.

Picking up a wooden stick, he directed it to Jiang Huai’s neck. “Your name is Jiang Huai, right?”

The hooligans surrounded him. All of them had scowls painted across their faces.

Scared half to death, the young man trembled. He felt a ball rising up to his throat, and he couldn’t find it in himself to speak. “I…….” Shit, he was going to die.

Li Tao stretched his leg and stepped on his palm.

“Ah!”

Jiang Huai cried out in pain.

Tears streamed down his cheeks, and he took a deep breath, unable to speak out. It hurt. Everything was painful. He writhed in pain, feeling as if his entire system had been destroyed.

“Are you going to tell the truth now?”

Li Tao kicked his stomach.

“Ah, mph…”

Different sounds blubbered up his throat. He kept bobbing his head up and down, afraid that he’d be kicked again in the next second.

Li Tao motioned to the people behind him and they took the rag from her mouth.

“Brother Tao,” he immediately said, crawling towards him. “I really didn’t mean for you to be beaten by that bitch! I know you were interested in that slut, but when I saw her come out of that luxury car, I didn’t want you to be deceived by her.”

“She’s a slut, she’s not worth your attention!”

“That’s why I told you her location-for you to know her true colors. I didn’t know this woman was powerful! I’m really sorry.”

Jiang Huai cried.

Tears flowed through his cheeks. He appeared to be very sincere about his feelings, but even then… Li Tao observed him for a couple of seconds before lowering his stick.

“You-it’s really like this?”

Li Tao hesitated for a moment.

The surrounding men all pointed their wooden sticks at Jiang Huai. The tension wafted around them as they stared cautiously, afraid that he’d try something against their boss.

“Yes, it’s just like that.”

Surprise flashed across Jiang Huai’s eyes. Taking a deep breath, he hugged his arms around Li Tao’s leg as he continued to look as sincere as possible.

He didn’t expect him to be so gullible!

Li Tao actually believed his words so easily. What an idiot! He might be able to make use of him again.

“Are you planning to let her off just like that?”

He gritted his teeth.

Perhaps he could still salvage this situation. After all, Yao Tang had indeed gotten into a fight. There must be consequences awaiting for her in the end.

“Then what should I do?”

At the mention of Yao Tang, Li Tao was filled with outrage.

How could he have been beaten up by that crazy woman? It was a great humiliation!

“Brother Tao, I’m not sure if we should do this…but if you’re willing to give this a try, maybe we can chase her out of school for good,” Jiang Huai slowly said. “We have to work together on this.”

He held his leg as the suggestion slipped out of his lips.

Now that he had been exposed, there would be people who’d look for trouble, especially those who had sided with Yao Tang and Meng Yang.
