Chapter 925 There can be only one winner  Dracula's threat at close range made it difficult for Max to continue using dimensional walk to land solid shots as although risking it was not a foolish strategy since Dracula did not have a good counter for it, with the clone dying before his very eyes he could not risk it anymore since he no longer had Drax to mess with Dracula's detection senses.

' Shit, grandpa Drax, your big debut has been ruined ' Max said in his mind as he could hear Drax sighing deeply.

With the clone's body destroyed Max was going to be unable to use the skill again for next 3 days which meant that Drax would be unable to physically support him.

Restricted in his bracelet form, the best that Drax could do was operate the Agni-Astra and supply Max with tactical knowledge, but as for actual combat he was not going to be able to project himself physically.

It was a big blow for Max, who knew that Drax could potentially do much more than just messing with Dracula's senses as in an ideal world there was a chance that Drax could best Dracula one vs one without even needing Max's help.

Naturally the odds of such an event occuring were slim, but they were present nonetheless.

Without Drax as a combat partner, Max had to re-evaluate his entire attack strategy as the whole as the ' One blocks, the other attacks ' strategy had been thrown out of the bus.

' You need to keep up the pressure, since you have already activated unstoppable assault and constant regeneration, I suggest you keep up the pressure and engage in a close range sword fight. It will be a brawl, but you will come out ahead with these skills while he will be exhausted by the end of it' Drax suggested as Max vigorously nodded his head and clutched his sword.

He charged at Dracula and his opponent responded in kind, however, this time around Dracula did not just use his sword to counter Max but also actively used Blood Manipulation to give this fight his best shot.

He knew that against Max's superior stats, a contest of swords was going to prove difficult and hence he understood the need to use blood manipulation to its fullest extent, since it was the only department where he held a real edge over Max.

As a result, the duo engaged in a bone-chilling contest of fighting at peak speeds and strength with clashes between their weapons creating shockwaves strong enough to hypothetically slice spectating tier6 god's in half if there were any witnessing their current fight.

Both gave the other no chance to land a clean hit and if one managed to create an opening and land an attack, the other returned the damage two-fold.

It was the real clash of Titans, a peak battle between two primordial vampires who stood at the pinnacle of their races and had the necessary strength to decide the future of the vampire society, for better or for worse.

Both were ferocious.

Both loved the thrill of the hunt.

Both were extraordinary in their own right. However, in the end only one could emerge victorious- and while Dracula could only heal a fraction of the damage that he received, Max's constant regeneration gave him the edge as despite Dracula's best efforts he could not put a dent in Max's HP pool.

Two full hours later as the effects of unstoppable assault faded away, Max was left facing a heavy breathing Dracula with a red HP bar at the very limit of his physical capabilities with cut wounds visible all over his body.

The primordial vampire could no longer even hold the weight of his sword as the did not have the strength to point it towards Max.

The river of blood that he had summoned to support him had disappeared completely as although he had absorbed some blood to recover from the damage cast by Max and to keep his stamina reserves from hitting 0, even after he consumed all the blood at his disposal in space, Max kept hitting harder and harder as if he was not affected by such mortal afflictions.

" Well done-, this was the best …. Be… best fight of my life " Dracula said as he regretted choosing space as the fighting arena instead of a bloody cityscape where he could potentially use an inexhaustible supply of blood to replenish his strength whenever he felt necessary.

Max took the complement, however, he did not give Dracula what he thought was coming in the form of an easy death as instead of taking his head away like a trophy Max used the move [ Soul Devour ] and dragged his opponent who he had beaten close to an inch of his life to the soul realm where he was planning to convert him to nourishment.

Dracula was surprised at being sucked into a different space against his will as he wondered what Max's end-game was?

Unlike Bavuma, Dracula did not know much about the soul realm apart from understanding that he had been sucked into Max's.

He too had mastered the Void so knew how to move and interact with the soul, however, he did not understand the logic behind Max dragging him to his soul realm? Exposing his soul vessel to his opponent….

" Why have you brought me here? If you need me to repair your soul vessel or become your soulmate or something then let me tell you, I'm really not into men" Dracula said as he tried to crack a joke and buy himself time so that energy returned to his muscles, however, Max did not give him the luxury of recovery.

Immediately starting the Soul Devour process with Drax as a medium, Max began reducing Dracula to just EXP points and memories as he grew incrementally stronger in the process.

Blindly trusting Drax to do his job, Max did not even question whether or not the old A.I. might betray him, since Drax had never given him a chance to question his loyalty, however, it was at this tense moment that Drax revealed his true personality hidden behind a snake-skin.
