Max's progress

(The ultimate levelling pagoda)

Max was fighting floor 780 of the ultimate levelling pagoda where his fight was against an army of minotaurs.

These half men, half bull like creatures who had the strength of a barbarian were a mystical creature in the universe that were seldom seen within Beast King Omar's territory.

Their group attacks like [ Herd charge ] and [Unending Earthquake ] were difficult to deal with even for Max, especially when his only goal in fighting these monsters was to perfect the moves [Void Neutralisation ] and [ Alter Reality]

The moves that he had learnt after being promoted to tier7 were still at intermediate mastery despite them being in his arsenal for a long time as it was extremely dangerous and difficult to practise these moves on a day-to-day basis.

Having first-hand experienced the effects of recklessly using [ Alter Reality] via Bavuma, Max understood just how much of a double edged move it really was and hence he only used it to change small parts of his surroundings which gave him a very slight edge in battle.

His lack of an actual firepower move that was capable of crowd control was evident in battles like these when he was facing a crowd of enemies as except his domain move, he had no real mass attacks to deal with the enemy at once.

Although it was a shame, this was exactly where Drax stepped up his game as taking over the clone's body he could behave as an archmage and dish out moves capable of dealing severe damage.

In this battle, his only role was to keep Max from being overwhelmed while he sharpened skills like [ Void Neutralisation] and [ Alter Reality ] while sharpening his sword skills and trying different combinations of [ Elemental Infusion] and [ Elemental Convergence]

When faced with a charging herd, Max would alter the terrain slightly, converting the solid land the Bulls were running on to a muddy terrain, causing the earth tremors to stop and the Bulls to miss a beat as their hooves got stuck in the mud.

At that same instance, he would charge with a blinding speed, gliding over the mud as if it were solid as he dealt damage to 40-50 bulls within a span of five to ten seconds.

Then, as the other bulls caught up with the change and started to attack him, he would neutralise their energy attacks using [ Void Neutralisation] and proceed to solidify the ground using [ Alter Reality], trapping their muddy hooves in a solid ground now to get a second round of assault in, before repeating the process all over again.

Meanwhile, Drax would cover his back and prevent him from being overwhelmed from attacks so that he could focus on improving his skills.

This way, Max improved both his swordsmanship and his skill proficiency at once as slowly but surely his sword arts which were once rudimentary at best began slowly evolving into a unique form of fighting that was best tailored to his own talents.

For Max, the sword was not his ultimate weapon, but rather one more option in his infinite arsenal of attacks as whether it be all sorts of Elemental Arts including but not limited to fire attacks, or Blood Attacks, or Shamanic attacks or Domain attacks or even Sword attacks, Max could perform them all without breaking a sweat and that was what made him lethal.

The popular logic said that ' A jack of all trades was a master or none, but he is still better than a master of one' however, Max even surpassed that logic by becoming a master of every art he practised.

While he was not a master of swordsmanship like his brother.

While he was not the best blood manipulator like Dracula

While he was not the ultimate shaman like Angakok.

He was a master in all these arts having attained a mastery that went beyond just basic understanding, giving him a unique fighting style that was closest to what the Perfect Warrior practised.

Just like the Perfect Warrior, Max not only had a physical constitution that surpassed what any other warrior had, giving him a foundation to supplement all his skills, but he also had a deeper understanding of the laws of the universe better than anyone.

While he was not the most flashy warrior that could destroy suns and moons with a flick of his finger. He was undoubtedly the most troublesome fighter to fight one vs one, not to mention that he had the future dragon queen herself as his summon who with her infinite mana could bail him out of any situation.

With the ultimate cloning technique at his disposal and an all powerful A.I. that could be considered the world's universe's best battle mage at the moment, Max could arguably turn any one vs one fight into a three versus one fight easily if he wished to, giving no chance to any opponent that he sincerely wished to take down. With an extremely practical fighting style and a cowardly mindset, Max had long given up on becoming the pinnacle warrior in one single field but had rather focused on taking the much harder road of becoming the master of all.

While the current him was unsure of whether or not it could take down Rudra or the universal queen in battle, except for those two Max knew that even the king of angels Micheal himself could not fight in a one vs one battle against him as he was confident of claiming Dracula's head the next time he met him.

Ofcourse, since he was not after his head he was not training to decapitate him, but rather training to restrain him as in the end he wished to devour Dracula to grow stronger and only saw him as nourishment for his soul.

A truly terrifying mentality considering the fact that his opponent had lived over 10000 years and is easily one of the top3 warriors in the universe that's still alive.
