It took two days for Max's body to regenerate in the celestial realm after being destroyed by karmic backlash, after which Rudra came to visit him, asking if he had gotten a grasp of how to use karmic essence.
Max, although having used the force only once, felt like he had grasped the basics of its power and was truly awestruck at just how potent it was compared to normal divine essence.
Using karmic essence was like charging a car with nitros instead of gasoline as the power output of every aspect of one's body increased significantly when used.
However, just like nitros, using karmic essence came with a cost to the engine as it damaged one's body and caused it to fall apart from the intense strain of bearing the output load.
Nonetheless, with Max learning how to wield Karmic Essence, it was finally time for Rudra to reveal his strategy to take on the perfect warrior, as Rudra began to impart to Max his carefully crafted masterplan to bring down the perfect warrior.
Rudra was very clear in his mind that Max only had one chance to beat the perfect warrior as he intended to make Max's first run his last.
In Rudra's understanding of the perfect warrior, he was an individual who was ever learning and ever evolving and hence repeated battles against him only diminished one's chances of success as the perfect warrior already got a grasp of their strengths and weaknesses. After fighting him several times, Rudra understood that the perfect warrior was too sly to fall for any cheap tricks and that if one wanted to beat him, they had to do it through sheer class and a methodical approach.
" To defeat the perfect warrior, there are two important milestones that one must achieve to have a shot at killing him-" Rudra said as he explained the secret of killing the perfect warrior to Max in great detail.
According to Rudra's understanding of the perfect warrior, to beat him, one first had to defeat his clone which already was a task and a half to achieve.
The perfect warrior's clone held access to all the techniques and spells of the perfect warrior and was a formidable variable that needed to be neutralized if Max wanted to establish control over the battlefield.magic
" It's paramount that the clone be taken out of the equation first, even if you have to sacrifice some HP as it's impossible to win a battle against the perfect warrior while being outnumbered" Rudra said as Max nodded his head and took Rudra's advice to heart.
lightsΝοvel The second milestone that Rudra asked Max to achieve was to wait out the entire duration of his opponents [ Constant Regeneration ] spell.
[ Constant Regeneration ] was such a broken ability that it made any progress made in battle useless as all wounds inflicted to the enemy were healed almost instantly.
In such a state, it would be impossible to degrade the perfect warrior's HP to 0 and hence Rudra asked Max to wait out the two hours duration of the skill and somehow reserve his real strength for until that technique expired.
Only after neutralizing perfect cloning and constant regeneration, could Max realistically take out the perfect warrior by relying on the karmic essence moves, however, even then he would have a single chance to end it all." So brother what you're saying is, first I have to somehow kill his clone which has almost the same strength as the perfect warrior without relying on karmic essence.
Then I have to force my enemy to activate constant regeneration and somehow survive a two hour brawl against him until that move expires.
Then, after such an intense and long battle, I have to find an opening to attack him, which would give me one single chance to decide the outcome of the match because I'd die from the karmic backlash if he does not?
Isn't this too difficult?" Max questioned as Rudra sighed and nodded his head.
The perfect warrior was the single most formidable opponent that Rudra had ever seen in his entire life and to defeat him everything needed to align perfectly and there was no margin for error.
Ofcourse, Rudra also gave Max advice on specific move combinations and attacks that the perfect warrior was likely to pull off, but all that was more or less speculation as it would be completely upto Max to judge his opponent and his attacks once the battle started.
"Do you believe I can do it?" Max asked Rudra who chuckled at the question and looked straight into Max's eyes.
"In my eyes, you're beyond perfect Max. You're better than me, better than him, better than almost everyone" Rudra said honestly as he patted the head of his younger brother, giving him the confidence he needed before his big fight.
"What about the seed of chaos? Will you know when to destroy it?" Max asked as Rudra nodded his head and told him to not worry about that bit.
The second the perfect warrior died, Rudra was prepared to destroy the seed of chaos at any cost necessary as he was even ready to go to the length of asking all the celestials to combine their strengths to destroy the seed if necessary.
" Alright then…. Tonight I'll prepare my mind, tomorrow I'll ascend the cliff and throw in my challenge" Max said as Rudra slapped him on the shoulder and wished him the best of luck.
Rudra genuinely hoped that Max could make his first run count as he always felt a gnawing suspicion in his heart that the perfect warrior kept improving with every battle he had and hence defeating him only became progressively harder.
From his end, he had done everything he could and now it was upto Max and his skill as a warrior to achieve the impossible and lift the shackles of the universe that the perfect warrior was guarding.
